Her academic interests include foreign language education in general, discourse analysis, narrative inquiry, and multilingual creative writing, as well as literature and folklore.

Meghan's academic interests include identity formation in both educators and language learners, Speech Act Theory, and the connection between language and thought. She minored in German with a TEFL certificate and taught a variety of classes in a variety of different settings including a summer semester abroad in Germany.  Meghan enjoys traveling and studying languages and is hoping to teach overseas after graduation.

Wayne is originally from Virginia. He retired in 2008 after working in agriculture and computer networking. He has always been interested in languages and has become particularly interested in Sociocultural Theory, Dynamic Assessment, ESL teaching, and teacher training since beginning the MA TESL program.  His teaching experience includes agriculture, computer networking, early morning seminary, and many other teaching assignments at church.

Yujie is interested in Tibetan students’ English learning. In her B.A. thesis at Northwest Normal University (NWNU) thesis she investigated  the learning conditions of Tibetan middle school students under the new curriculum reform. Since then, she has focused on Tibetan language loss, language policies and language planning. Yujie Ji's work experience includes an internship at a Middle school in Lanzhou and a part-time position at a primary school affiliated with NWNU.
