Biography:

Ahlem Yazidi taught EFL numerous times in Tunisia, beginning at high school level, then later at college. She also taught French in high schools. When Awarded the Fulbright FLTA scholarship, Ahlem taught Arabic as a foreign language at Penn State. Since then, she taught 4 levels of Arabic while tutoring both Arabic and French at Penn State. As of Fall 2016, she was selected to teach IELTS test preparation at the IECP. Ahlem has also experience in translation and Interpretation.

Her research interests include ESL/EFL writing, Media language and critical discourse analysis, multilingualism and World Englishes, Second Language acquisition and translation, etc.
