Biography:

Brett Diaz's research interests center on emotion in language, cognitive approaches to linguistics, discourse analysis, and phonetics/phonology. Past research projects have included medical interview research; memory and recall; and the effects of emotion on speech production. He hopes to return to Scandinavia to conduct future research.  Apart from his studies, his personal interests include music, philosophy, world beers, real estate investment, and spending time with family.
