Michael’s research interests include: second language learnability and the interface between second language acquisition and second language teaching; applying sociocultural approaches to foreign/second language teaching and to online instructional design; and internet-mediated communicative activity and materials design. My goal is to add to the development of online language learning tools, to the existing body of theory, and to language instructional development.
