Professional Bio

Areas of interest: language policy and planning; multilingualism and multilingual education; English-medium education; language ideologies; and southern and decolonial epistemologies.
Edwin is a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Linguistics. He received his BA in English from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and his MA in Applied Linguistics from Ohio University. He has experience in teaching academic writing and communication, African literature and film, and Linguistics courses. Edwin’s research interests include language policy and planning, multilingualism and multilingual education, English-medium education, language ideologies, and southern and decolonial epistemologies.
