Kimberly Hansen received a Bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from St. Norbert College and a Master’s degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has lived and worked as a language teacher in Cabo Verde, Moçambique, Brasil, Colombia, Angola, and the U.S. Her research interests include critical sociolinguistics, translingual practices, foodways, and intersectional feminist approaches.
