Xiaozheng Dai is a PhD student in Applied Linguistics. Her research interests include discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, and the integration of digital technology into second language learning and teaching. Her current research focuses on the impact of digital gaming on second language acquisition, with a particular emphasis on second language (L2) learners’ pragmatic competence. Prior to coming to Penn State, she had five years of experience teaching exam preparation classes to learners of English as a second language.
