I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at APLNG in Penn State. Before joining Penn State, I finished my master's in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education at Indiana University Bloomington. I have nearly ten years of experience teaching English for academic purposes (EAP) and English for special purposes (ESP), as well as imparting Chinese language skills to college-level learners from different linguistic, cultural, and social backgrounds. Additionally, I conducted training for pre-service teachers who aimed to teach English language learners (ELL) in K-12 settings in the US. Alongside my teaching experience, I have been involved in collaborative research and conducted independent studies on L2 writing. My research interests include corpus methods, genre approaches to EAP/ESP writing research, pedagogy, assessment, and computer-assisted language learning (CALL).
